The Kingston Group is a recovery based group of Alcoholics Anonymous in Kingston, WA. We gather to bring hope and carry the Tradition of Unity in recovery from Alcoholism.
There is hope.
If you or someone you know are struggling with the grips of addiction from drugs and alcohol we are here for you and we know how you feel. Why? Because we’ve been there.
We know all too well the hopelessness, loneliness and challenges addiction can cause our lives and those around us. There is hope and we do recover.
The Kingston Group, establish in Kingston, WA on September 29th, 1977, has been active in carrying the message of Experience, Strength & Hope through In-Person meetings, the 12-Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and our local Fellowship of Men & Women. There are no dues or fee’s, religious or political affiliations, we are not engaged in any controversy, nor do we endorse or oppose any causes…we are open to all who simply have a desire to stop drinking and want to stay sober 1 Day at a Time.
We have 10 meetings In-Person and online via Zoom each week. Please see our schedule below and don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have.
We wish you the very best on your journey and thank you for your courage to seek help. We are here for you!

Meeting Schedule
We are currently open and hosting meetings 7-days a week. We practice safe social-distancing practices and sanitize our hall after every In-Person meeting at the hall. We advise anyone coming in to kindly wear a face-covering for their safety and the safety of others in attendance. We also provide Hybrid meetings now which combine our members on Zoom to the meeting in the hall. The result has been a wonderful and safe way to bring unity to our Fellowship during these uncertain times. We do practice and adhere to the principal of anonymity and have setup a section that is out-of-camera-range for those wishing to be off-camera.

What are Hybrid Meetings?
Hybrid meetings are a combined In-Person & Virtual meeting with the attendee’s in the Hall and connecting online via Zoom. Due to COVID-19 we wanted to create a way with technology for our Fellowship to stay connected once we were able to safely re-open the Hall start In-Person meetings again last Summer 2020. The result of combing our 2 meeting types (In-Person & online on Zoom) into 1 Hybridized meeting has been a wonderful and unifying experience. It allows people to join our meetings from anywhere. While many of us still prefer traditional face-to-face In-Person meetings, we recognize the unique benefits of using technology to maintain unity within our group. This may very well become the future of meetings for many groups. Simply put, Hybrid meetings provide a means for us all to stay connected as a Fellowship.
Note: We do use technology in our hall to provide Hybrid meetings. This includes a computer, 2 TV screens for monitoring, 1 camera on an iPad facing the main section of the hall, a Laptop Camera on the Chair Person and microphones to pick-up members’ shares in the space. If you do not wish to be on camera, we have created a section that is “off camera” in our hall. We want to make it clear that no one is forced to announce themselves or be on camera should they attend one of our In-Person Hybrid meetings. It is our groups’ feeling that this style meeting unifies us more as a whole and helps us carry the message to the next alcoholic who is suffering during these times.
